Cobi: Don’t You Cry For Me

If all gospel-like music sounded (and looked…) like this there’d be many more asses in church seats. Another one of those rare who-is-singing-this moments. Late to the game on this one, but had to share this track, “Don’t You Cry For Me” by Cobi.

He’s the powerhouse singer-songwriter and former Gentlemen Hall frontman, but this is a cool and haunting electro-church sounding track that I can’t stop listening to. Between the L.A. artist’s vocals in the foreground, the expansive gospel choir in the background and the ever-present, hypnotic synths throughout, this is quite a journey.
